Life takes unexpected turns, both happy and sad - and it's easy to lose ourselves as we navigate the challenges of its many transitions such as family changes, loss of a loved one, aging, illness, and managing caretaking responsibilities. Mindfulness

I allow plenty of space and permission to help you feel the difficult stuff, the good stuff and any stuff in-between; honoring where you are at each moment in your journey.

My own life journey has brought me to a place where I've learned to connect to a deeper awareness of self, create more peace within, and discover an increased wisdom that enables me to live a rich and meaningful life. By working through my own struggles, I've become passionate about giving people the  chance to reconnect with their innate wisdom. I am proud to have helped many people bring clarity to their own lives, discover a broader self awareness, experience improved well-being and find a renewed sense of freedom.

In 1993, I was introduced to the Gestalt Awareness Practice, in the tradition of Dick and Christine Price. I was guided in building a foundational practice that focuses on deep listening within and how to recognize, realize and embody emotions in an authentic way. My passion for the healing arts continued with studies in Healing Touch. I later became a hospice volunteer and used this modality with many patients and their families. I then went on to become certified in Massage Therapy, Touch for Health and Zero Balancing. Through my advanced studies of the Gestalt Awareness Practice, I became curious about how the mind works - specifically around self compassion - and began to study meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition with Mingyur Rinpoche at the Tergar Institute in 2019. I have completed David Kessler's Grief Education program and earned full certification. As one of the leading grief experts in the US, his approach resonated strongly with me because it aligned with my Gestalt Awareness Practice and hospice education. As a Grief Educator I am committed to providing the highest level of support using my education, experience and insights to help acknowledge emotions and work through the grief process. I am a certified Professional Mindfulness Coach accredited by the Mindfulness Coaching School and the International Coaching Federation, and trained in Internal Family Systems Coaching. These studies have expanded my ability to help people find their own inner strengths and wisdom, so they can find balance and fulfillment in their life.

I know everything happens for a reason and that all of this experience has led me to where I am today. I have truly found my calling.
